Officially Recorded

Egypt’s Presidency lists El-Maghara among the Cairo palaces built by Ibrahim Pasha. That is sufficient to establish dynastic provenance, but not sufficient to reconstruct the building in detail.

Research Status

The record remains intentionally sparse until archival plans, land records or a reliable monument identification can establish exact location, chronology and survival.

Why It Matters

Royal Palaces distinguishes between a verified palace and a fully reconstructed palace history. El-Maghara currently belongs to the first category.
