Egypt is now complete enough to serve as the first country model for Royal Palaces. It does not mean that every historical uncertainty has disappeared. Instead, unresolved questions are explicitly preserved below.
| Topic | Status | What remains |
|---|---|---|
| Prince Omar Toussoun — Bacos, Alexandria | Open | Palace historically attested, but exact present building identity and property genealogy require reconciliation. |
| Avaris palace district | Open building-level split | Palace district is secure; individual building records should follow publication-level architectural attribution. |
| Tulunid al-Qata’i | Open reconstruction | Dar al-Imara is retained, but the wider palace-city requires deeper academic reconstruction. |
| Mena House | Open fabric audit | Khedivial lodge origin is secure; exact surviving original lodge fabric requires architectural evidence. |
| Montaza / Salamlek chronology | Open date reconciliation | Official/public chronologies contain inconsistencies that should remain visible until archival reconciliation. |
| Princess Faiqa / Jamila / Tawhida palaces | Open exact dates/current reuse | Royal provenance is secure; construction dates and post-ministry adaptive reuse need property-level records. |
| Al-Qasr Al-Aly / El-Maghara | Verified but unlocalised | Dynastic palace names are documented, but precise plans/sites and construction chronology remain incomplete. |
| Local/original names for several ancient palace records | Open philological audit | No local-name form will be invented where a secure historical form has not yet been sourced. |
