Hohenzollern and Alexandra Feodorovna
Who lived where and when?
Alexandra Feodorovna (1798–1860), born Charlotte of Prussia, married the future Nicholas I in 1817. This links the Prussian Hohenzollern family with the Russian imperial court. Peterhof Museum describes the Cottage as a summer residence used by their family. Seasonal use is documented here without inventing annual arrival or departure dates. This is Nicholas I’s wife, not Nicholas II’s wife of the same name.
