Hôtel de Rohan construction: 1705–1708
Who they were
Armand Gaston de Rohan, the younger son of François de Rohan-Soubise and a future cardinal, commissioned Pierre Alexis Delamair to build the Hôtel de Rohan between 1705 and 1708. His relative François Armand later renewed the reception apartment in the 1750s. This family entry identifies the church princes responsible for different phases of the residence, rather than assigning its entire history to one owner.
