Manoir des Aulnaies
Canada → Quebec → Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies
Amable Dionne bought the seigneury in 1837 and initiated the manor project. Completed in 1853, a year after his death, the house passed to Paschal-Amable Dionne. Its broad galleries and landscaped setting express nineteenth-century country-house taste. The manor and working mill explain different sides of the estate: family residence and seigneurial production. They are separate buildings; this entry concerns the residence, while the mill is a related visitor attraction.
Visiting
The 2026 regular visiting season ended on 12 October. The operator lists manor tours at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00 during the season. Do not assume autumn or winter interior access; check special programmes and the next season. Garden pricing is inconsistent between the tariff table and FAQ, so confirm it directly.
