Manoir Globensky
Canada → Quebec → Saint-Eustache
Charles-Auguste-Maximilien Globensky commissioned Henri-Maurice Perrault to design this residence, built in 1861–1865. His marriage to Virginie Lambert-Dumont connected him with the seigneurial family of Rivière-du-Chêne. Although constructed after the abolition of seigneurial tenure, the house preserves that family connection. Fire led to rebuilding in 1901; the columned porch was added around 1930. The museum inside explores local history, rather than presenting every room as Globensky’s original domestic interior.
