Manoir Rouville-Campbell
Canada → Quebec → Mont-Saint-Hilaire
Thomas Edmund Campbell acquired the earlier Hertel de Rouville manor in 1844. Between 1853 and 1860 he incorporated it into a Tudor-inspired residence designed by Frederick Lawford. Red brick, tall chimneys and an irregular roofline express the transition from seigneurial headquarters to landscaped country villa. The artist Jordi Bonet acquired the property in 1969 and established his studios here. Its later hotel use is part of the building’s history, but must not be confused with confirmed current accommodation.
Visiting
Belvoir announces an autumn 2026 reopening and invites event enquiries. However, stays and the restaurant are still labelled forthcoming on the page checked on 30 October 2026. An announcement is not confirmation of operating hotel rooms or unrestricted visitor admission; verify the actual opening and reservation conditions.
