Manoir seigneurial de Mascouche — lost building

Canada → Quebec → Mascouche

The manor developed in successive stages under the seigneurs of Mascouche, including the Pangman family. Hazel Kemp Colville transformed it in the twentieth century into a French-inspired country house. The municipality acquired the property in 2015, but demolished the manor on 16 November 2020 following a fire-safety report. This record concerns that lost residential building. The surviving mill, miller’s house and the public park are related places, not a surviving palace or a replacement identity for the demolished manor.

Visiting

The public metropolitan park opened in 2021. There is no historic manor interior to visit: the building was demolished. Check municipal information for park access and any works; older heritage descriptions that still mention a standing manor are out of date.
